Back from weekend

I got back yesterday night from my mini escape…sleeping all morning and having drinks beside the pool…that’s how life is supposed to be…
My friends’ house was really big and her family was very obliging (of course I’ve known them for ages…). The last time I was at the house it was for her sisters wedding… thought I didn’t catch the bouquet sniff sniff….
Anyway they have an amazing garden, a patch of which had vegetables, so I turned farmer Jane and picked tomatoes, peppers and eggplants…I never knew it would be so much fun. I hope I’ll get another invitation for next week…I’ll keep me fingers crossed. For now it’s back to the galley…work, work and work some more…
